It’s the weekend before Valentine’s Day so I’ve made a very cheerful valentine which can be given to nearly anyone, from sweetheart to child and even to a best girlfriend. The cute rabbit is from the 5221 – Sending Love Cubbies. I used the 5072 – Block Letters Dies Set to cut two XOs in pink and a red. I offset each of the letters and used a White Acrylic Marker to add faux stitches to the pink letters. I cut a pink heart using the 5721 Nested Heart Die and placed it in front of a glittered ephemera ephemera and heart. I used dies from the Journal Template Die set 5543 to cut the sentiment on top and the lace border. The pink and white background was cut from 5741 Valentine PP.
Cubbie sets come in many different varieties. You can use them as they are intended or like I did. I used the set to make the letter and the bow and attached them to the bunny. She is so adorable by herself, and her expression is so sweet. There are many small accessory images you can use on cards or scrapbooking pages. If you own Cubby sets, you might want to give them a second look and see if they can be used on their on as I have done on this particular card.
